Q. I forgot my username, how do I log in?
A. Your username is your e-mail address.

A. Below the sign-in box, click on “Forgot your password?” This will take you through the process of resetting your password.
Q. How do I update my profile and/or resume?
A. Click “My WRC” in the upper right and then “My profile” to edit or update your full Work Ready Connect profile.

Q. Does having a Work Ready Certificate guarantee I’ll get a job?
A. No, but it does help you stand out from the competition by verifying your core job skills and demonstrating your commitment to success to potential employers.
Q. Who will see my resume?
A. Only Georgia employers who prefer or require Work Ready Certificates as part of their hiring criteriA.
Q. What if I can’t find the company I’m looking for?
A. Make sure the company name is spelled correctly. If the spelling is correct, the company may not be associated with Work Ready Connect. Only those companies that prefer or require Work Ready Certificates are given access to the site.
Q. How do I search for jobs on Work Ready Connect?
A. You can search by keyword (any descriptor of the job title, responsibilities or skills), industry (begin typing a name and site will offer any available options) or target occupation (begin typing a job title and the site will offer available options). You can also search by the company name.
Q. What are Recommended Jobs?
A. Work Ready Connect offers available jobs that match your profile. We suggest you review the job listing and apply for those that meet your personal criteriA.
Q. What should I do if the job I want to apply for requires a higher Work Ready Certificate level than I earned?
A. Georgia Work Ready offers free, self-guided skills gap training to help you improve your score. Training can be done online at your own speed. Contact the technical college where you completed your assessment to get log-in information.
Q. How do I apply for a job?
A. On the Job Description page, you have the option to customize your resume and include a cover letter for any job you want to apply for. Once you have completed your resume and cover letter, click the Submit Application button to send your application. The company will get back in touch with you via the contact information in your profile.
Q. How long will it take for me to receive a response after I submit a job application?
A. It depends on the employer. Your application was sent to the company and they will contact you directly.
Q. How often are new jobs posted?
A. Businesses post jobs as position become open.
Q. How do I improve my resume, cover letter, interview skills, etc.?
A. Georgia College 411 provides valuable tools to help you land a job. We link to those tools via the Job Tools tab. You can also visit www.gacollege411.org.
Q. I’m not looking for a job anymore, should I cancel my profile?
A. Georgia Work Ready recommends you maintain your profile regardless of job status. It can serve as a valuable tool for training and promotion opportunities and can be updated at any time.
Q. Will my contact information be sold to any third parties?
A. Work Ready Connect does not disclose to any third party your name, address, e-mail address or telephone number without your consent, except to the extent necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable laws, or in legal proceedings where such information is relevant.
Q. Does my account expire?
A. No, your account does not expire.
